Every New Year, we look back on past shows and pick one that will not only be a killer for the fans, but one that will feel like a party to us too. This year, we're going for an American legend - one of the great rock and roll songwriters of all time - Tom Petty.
Twangy guitars over rich organ beds, driven by rock solid bass and drums are the sound that catapulted Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers into the spotlight, but it was the evocative lyrics and strong melodies that kept them there. And as Tom moved into his own spotlight, his legend grew, and he took his place among the greats.
We will present hits and deep cuts that span his amazing career in loving tribute to a legend who is still building his legacy today. We'll be joined by special guests including Grant Tye and Greg Suran and Martyrs' will provide the atmosphere and the lubrication - you'll want to dance and sing along, and rock the New Year in with us at the best party in town!
